The art of dreams With its initiative, Porsche is launching a global series of experiences in art and design to engage with the creative community in a new and sustainable way. Immersive experiences that explore the motif of dreams from different conceptual angles provide positive inspiration and optimism to the audience. With cultural engagement Porsche contributes to building vibrant communities and livable future societies. For this edition hosted at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, Imre and Marne got to explore the beauty of pattern, repetition, and rhythm inside a special created installation by Numen/For Use. Based on the iconic Pepita Pattern. On a selected group of dancers they created a choreography that makes use of the exhibition space, the art installation and Vitra limited edition chairs. Lead by a new composition by Amos Ben-Tal, sound design by Salvador Breed and costumes designed by Alessandro Vigilante.“With its elements intertwining, the installation symbolizes the complex plot that encloses our thoughts, feelings and relationships. This space reminiscent of a cocoon evokes feelings of security, sense of belonging and well-being. As a safe haven, it invites us to reflect on our carefree moments of fantasy and discovery. Through dance and movement, we try to free these unconscious rhythms.” – Imre & Marne van Opstal Credits Production/ Brand: PorscheProduction: Amsterdam BerlinChoreography/Movement Direction: Imre & Marne van OpstalArt Installation: Numen/ For UseMusic: Amos Ben-TalSound Design: Salvador BreedCostume Design: Alessandro VigilanteDancers: Chloe Albaret, Eve- Marie Dalcourt, Keren Leiman, Guillaume Queau, Robin Nimanong, Leonel Pierre-Antoine Bardot, Jamal Callender, Amie-Blaire Chartier
