Body Sculpture by Jordan Wolfson

Imre and Marne had to pleasure to assist and consult renowned visual artist Jordan Wolfson for the movement direction of his new animatronic piece, ‘Body Sculpture’.

“The intention is that the movement of Body Sculpture elicits the viewer to become activated in their bodies and therefore present,” Wolfson said in a statement provided by the museum. “It’s about seeing ourselves through three‑dimensional objects, which is what I believe sculpture as doing.”

Dior Spring/Summer 23

Imre & Marne choreographed the fashion show for the new spring/summer 23 ready-to-wear collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri during Paris fashion week. They created a special choreography on a selected group of dancers supported by the unique set design by Eva Jospin and the music by Bjork and Ioanna Gika among others.

The show was a collective collaboration born of the meeting of different projects and languages, they have imagined a performance reminiscent of the Renaissance, evoking a classical language but imbued with a resolutely contemporary impetus.

Marsell - Contrasts

An artistic collaboration with Italian brand Marsell, in which Both Imre & Marne choreographed, performed and gave creative direction to this project. They were invited to reflect on the theme of ‘contrast’ resulting in a short film and a photo series shot by Andras Ladocsi.

For Lykke Li’s world tour of her latest album EYEYE, Imre & Marne choreographed and directed the first part of the show. A gentle journey through memory, love and conflict.

Lykke Li - EYEYE / the movie

Imre & Marne collaborated with director Theo Lindquist on visuals for the song ‘Carousel’ on Lykke Li’s latest album EYEYE.  They worked closely with dancers, Jessica Lee, Spenser Theberge, Lykke Li and actor Jeff Willbush on the choreography and direction. The visual concept consist of multiple short stories shot in a loop,  together they form a larger story.

A collaboration with musician and composer Ry X, creating multiple films for his latest album release, Blood Moon. Imre & Marne choreographed and performed a dynamic relationship, where longing, belonging, love and loss are explored. Shot by renowned nature photographer Benjamin Hardman in the natural landscapes of Iceland.
