17- 11-2022 |  ‘Baby don’t hurt me’ created for Nederlands Dans Theater 1 can be viewed online for free as part of the Dublin Dance Festival Digital 2022 from November 17th until the 20th.

After booking a ticket you can view this work once using your unique access link. Please note, once you exit the screening after hitting play, you will not be able to access the film again.

Premiere Heart Drive

03-11-2022 | ‘Heart Drive’ the new creation for Ballet BC is premiering in Vancouver, Canada in the program OVERTURE/S. Exploring themes of love and pleasure, the work invites you to reflect, unburden and accept our instincts and impulses.

This is an unique co-production with the Tero Saarinen Dance Company based in Helsinki, Finland. It will be restaged and performed by a selected group of dancers in spring 2023.

Contrasts on Nowness

18-10-2022 | An artistic collaboration with luxury Italian shoe brand Marsell was released today on Nowness. They gave Imre & Marne carte blanche contemplating the theme of ‘contrast’ resulting in a film and a series of photos by Andras Ladocsi.

In a context in which the loss of reference points puts minds into a state of suspension, bodies governed by gravity and tension move without orientation or direction in search of a new stability.

Lykke Li MVA nomination

29-09-2022 | The Lykke Li EYEYE film project got nominated for a Music Video Award under the category ‘best special visual project’. Imre & Marne collaborated closely with Lykke Li and director Theo Lindquist on the track ‘Carousel’.

Dior Spring/Summer 23

28-09-2022 | Imre & Marne choreographed the fashion show for the new spring/summer 23 ready-to-wear collection designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri during Paris fashion week. They created a special choreography on a selected group of dancers supported by the unique set design by Eva Jospin and the music by Bjork and Ioanna Gika among others.

The show was a collective collaboration born of the meeting of different projects and languages, they have imagined a performance reminiscent of the Renaissance, evoking a classical language but imbued with a resolutely contemporary impetus.

24-09-2022 | The ‘Nederlandse Dans Dagen’ will be screening the livestream of ‘Baby don’t hurt me’ created for Nederlands Dans Theater 1,  alongside Damien Jalet’s ‘Mist’ on October 5th at Lumière in Maastricht.

Premiere I'm afraid to forget your smile

17 – 09- 2022 | The new work ‘Im afraid to forget your smile’ will be premiering with the Hessian State Ballet tonight at the Staatstheatre in Darmstadt. In collaboration with a sixteen head choir under the guidance of Ines Kaun. The work is part of the program “V/ertigo’ and will be performed at the Staatstheater in Darmstadt and Wiesbaden.

Screening 'Your love'

22- 08-2022 | The short dance film and music video ‘Your Love’ by Ry X, danced and choreographed by Imre & Marne will be screened at the Open Air Theatre in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam on September 2nd at 21.00 hours.

'to kingdom come' on tour

03-08-2022  | The new upcoming creation for GotenborgsOperans Danskompani which is set to premiere in March 2023 will be touring to theatre La Villette in Paris. It will be presented as a double bill alongside ‘Kites’ by Damien Jalet.

Lykke Li at The Broad Museum

02-08-2022  | For her first museum project, the internationally acclaimed Swedish artist Lykke Li partners with creative director Theo Lindquist and artist Nick Verstand to transform the Broad’s Oculus Hall into a hyper-sensory cathedral of female romantic fantasy, entitled Ü & EYEYE. Imre & Marne collaborated on the visuals for the song ‘Carousel’ that is part of the exhibition.
